What Should a Dissertation Proofreader Actually Check?
I’m putting together my final draft and realised I don’t need someone rewriting chapters. I need another person to catch the things I’ve stopped seeing: a citation that doesn’t match the reference list, headings that changed halfway through, and sentences that somehow survived five rereads.
